Personally, I did not care for Mr. Sanchos'.....I stopped there briefly one day and it was really hot and humid..and there didn't seem to be much shade. It also seemed to be very "commercial". Lots of very aggressive vendors.
We ended up at Playa San Francisco....not too far away. Nice pool, swim up bar, nice restaurant area, quieter atmosphere...at least that day.
We enjoyed Paradise Beach. There is no charge for chairs/umbrellas, but, like other free beach clubs, you will be expected to order a drink and/or some food. If you want to use any of their water toys (trampoline, kayaks, snorkeling equipment----but snorkeling is not good here, iceberg, floats), you can purchase a wristband for $8. There are massages for $1/minute. One of the reasons we enjoyed Paradise Beach was that there was nobody to bother you about buying things (no roving vendors). Once you enter the beach and find a chair, a waiter will bring you a menu and bring you whatever you want. Or, you can go to the bar/restaurant and order there. Very relaxing.
Mr. Sanchos is a nice beach with all the ammenities!! They even offer horseback riding and ATV's. I'm sure you will have a great 3 hours there and you can just pay as you go if you want food and drinks ~ or massages, tatoos etc.
