Default ? about Lovers Beach in Cabo

I'm thinking about taking a water taxi to Lovers Beach, I have never done this before and was wondering a few things.

How much should I expect to pay for 2 people?

Are they good about coming back to pick you up or do they just wait there? I don't want to be stranded!

I know there is nothing there and on the Pacific side the tide is strong but is it a good safe place to hang out for an hour or two?

Thanks any info

When we went on the glass bottom boat tour (about $12.00 per person) they dropped two people off at Lover's Beach and arranged a time to come back and get them, I think it was about two hours later. I don't think you would want to be there much longer than that as there are no facilities out there. But it is really beautiful, and I wouldn't mind going there if I ever get to Cabo again. I would pick up a few colds drinks in town first and then head out. Have fun!

i noticed that there were a few vendors selling drinks etc right on the beach where you get dropped off -- they will come and get you on the appointed time -- you will have to jump off the boat into the water and wade ashore

We did the Lovers Beach glass bottom boat and I will tell you this, you have to jump off the boat and wade to shore, no bathrooms but the worst and most embarrassing part is trying to haul yourself back into the boat out of the water. There is no graceful way and really, unless you are young and fit, don't try it. It was beautiful and cruising around the arches very cool, but when they got us back to the dock, the captain of the glass bottom boat bolted and keft us to climb up a huge rock wall to get back on the dock, I really felt old and clumsy that day Cozzette
