Cozumel - Tulum and Xel ha

I am travelling with a party of five and we are thinking of taking a tour from Playa del Carmen to Tulum in the morning and Xel ha in the later part of the day. Has anyone done a tour like this not using Royal Caribbean or a cruise line. If so, which company did you use.

The company used is a the largest Mexican tour operator with more than 35 years of experience in tours in many Mexican ports. It is a good tour, however honestly the time available is limited with the 8 hour cruise tours...two fabulously impressive and interesting sites where depending on ones interest could spend hours. If you have more time available, you may do it on your own, even if for taking maximum advantage of the Tulum site, a guide is recomended. Normally for the cruise lines, Tulum provides 2 hrs and Xel Ha 2 hrs...it is an intensive but good insight...for any other info on options you may check my profile...great sites...also check out Xcaret, another very nice natural park with many activities as well..

I did it using Carnival and it was fabulous.
