Default What should we do in Calica?

DH and I will be there the first week of August. What excursion do you suggest?

People have been raving about a private tour company called Ed-Venture Tours. Long story on how they came about touring, but sweet. go and gogle Edventure Tours reviews and read the raves. We booked them for June 20th our of Port Calica. My biggest fear was missing the boat. They have been doing tours for 20 years and have never never made someone miss the ship leaving port. Excited about posting the result of our excursion.
Happy sailing

Xcaret is a great park, also Xel-Ha for snorkeling and adventure. Recommendable is also the ATV Caverns and beach tour...visit some caverns by ATV, swim in a cenote and then head for the beach..great variety...or just go shopping and eating in Playa del Carmen at 10 minutes away...great little town!

Cozumelcruising, Playa is a little town? Although it seems easy to navigate in a rental, I was impressed by the size of it.
Of course, I am from Oklahoma and my frame of reference is not the best.

Reverendjeff....well, it is actually growing like crazy since years but I still look at it as a little town. Actually the area for turists is quite limited around 5th and 10th avenue, the rest of the town is for locals and not really attractive, the most part is on 5th avenue which is one block from the beach.
