Default Mexican Riviera weather in October?

I have never cruised the Mexican Riviera before, so I was wondering what kind of weather to expect in early October.
Ship sails from LA, to Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas.
Any help would be appreciated, because where we are coming from, it's COLD in October!

Donna~~~The weather in Oct. for Cabo is about 90*. Cabo is usually hotter than the other ports.

Hot and humid in the days but makes for nice nights. The weather usually isn't too great leaving from L.A but it's nice because you can adjust slowly to the humid weather as you get closer to P.V. We always cruise in the later part of October to the Mexican Riviera and have only encountered bad weather once.

Hi RD I have been to Cabo twice nice beaches there. My favorite thing for weather is to go to yahoo weather and check the average temputure. October weather is
PV High of 32C and low of 23C
Mazatlan high of 31C and low of 23C
Cabo high of 31C and low of 24C
You may encounter so rain at that time of year. Here is a link to the Cabo beach Cam

Very warm!! Our cruise was Oct. 3-9 2005, and the temperatures were hot, hot, hot! Puerto Vallarta had the worst humidity I've ever experienced. We cut our time short in P.V. to get back into our air conditioned cabin! Expect warm temps.

ALL of the ports of call along the Mexican Riviera are in the tropics, so expect very summerlike weather with daytime temperatures in the 80's or 90's.

The first and last days at sea transiting from and to either San Diego or Los Angeles tend to be somewhat cooler. On these two days, you might want a sweater or a light jacket if you go out on the weather decks.

Norm.

Well, what do you mean by "bad" in reference to the weather?

When you are in the tropics during hurricane season, there's always some (non-zero) probability of a hurricane. Nonetheless, hurricanes along the Mexican Riviera are relatively uncommon because storms tend to develop into hurricanes further to the west of land and then move westward in the tropics. Also, you can be sure that no cruise ship will deliberately go anywhere near the forecast path of a hurricane even if the cruise line has to rearrange the ship's itinerary in order to avoid it.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I guess bad weather could be expected during
hurricane season.

ferrangi,
Expect the weather to be hotter and more humid. Hurricane season runs till November, I believe, but could be slightly off.

BrwnEyedGirl I see you have the Spirit listed. How did you like it and how
long ago did you sail on her?
