Excursions for families with children - PV, Mazatlan, Cabo
We have our children ages 10 and 12, so that leaves out many of the excursions (tequila tours, ATVs, ziplines, etc).

Anyone with children here who can recommend excursions they have enjoyed? We would like to experience the Mexican culture. A little bit of shopping is ok.

Please see below, Sapphire Princess to Mexican Riviera, particularly Part 4, which chronicles our excursion on the pirate ship. I think your kids would love it, and they might even be asked to participate in the Pirate show!

The kids would probably love the pirate show!

Having done a little more research, it looks like Mazatlan may not be so wonderful. Still trying to decide what to with the fam on that day.

winecountrygirl.... In Mazatlan, my sister and cousin missed the excursion to Stone Island Beach Break (lucky for them - it was not great).
However, they got off the ship, took a taxi to El Mercado arts and crafts centre, where they did all kinds of shopping, then went to a nearby beach and enjoyed a lovely afternoon.
Maybe your kids might enjoy that too?
