Default P.V. port - restaurants?

Are there any restaurants within walking distance to the ship in P.V.

Opposite the terminal you will see Walmart and Sam's. To the left of that there recently openede a new Mall with the shop Liverpool a.o. in it. There you will find a Chili's.
But any other more interesting restaurants, take a yellow cab to Old Town. Plenty of nice restaurants along the Malecon (La Chatta and others) and on Playa los Muertes (La Palapa, langoustines etc.) .
Yellow cab from Walmart is much cheaper then the white/yesllow cabs from the port. Make a fix rate. will be just a few US$.
Or take one of the citybuses (direction Centro and Olas Altas) for 5.50 each. (Back the bus into direction Walmart).

The Krystal Hotel is adjacent to the cruise ship terminal. They have an ok palapa restaurant on the beach. There are a few other restaurants scattered very near the Hotel.

My favorite restaurants are a short cab ride. These are my suggestions:

El Arrayan........................................... .......Upscale Mexican
Le Bistro............................................ ......... Riverfront Chic
El Torito............................................ .......... Ribs & Steamed Shrimp
(This is a funky sports bar with fantastic food for very little money1)

Polo's (Formerly "Mariscos Polo" not pollo) This is by far the best seafood restaurant in town but not at all fancy. Just excellent fresh seafood at very reasonable prices. Mainly a locals restaurant. I dream of their pulpo burritos! MMMMMMMMM

River Cafe
Cafe Des Artistes (Pricey but a fantastic world class restaurant)
Back Alley Bistro (Fantastic french style pork chops....yum!)

Have a great time!
