Are you sure this tour is in Mazatlan? When I searched Tripadvisor I got Puerto Vallarta. The first review is the one of the Sierra Madre tour.

Thanks for the info. I doubled checked with Princess and they have a Sierra Madre tour in Mazatlan. Maybe it extends to P.V.?

Anyway, I will let you know when I get back.

I believe this is the tour we did in 2003 and enjoyed it. We visited the brick making factor, glass blowing factor and had a nice lunch at a beachside restaurant. Two years ago we did the Pacifico Brewery tour and that was great. The store items are soooo cheap as well as a case of beer. We bought 1 case of Pacifico and 1 case of Corona. They even let us take them directly to our cabin. Each case fit nicely in the bottom of our carryons, obviously we weren't flying anywhere.

Boy I wish I was on the ship with you to enjoy that beer! Thank you for the information about the tour, you just made my decision easier. I think the tour goes to two different villages. Do you think my 80 year old mother could do the trip? She is not too feeble, but I wondering how long they make you wait around while others ship. Now, I am thirsty for a cold one

I did this tour privately with Mazatlan Frank he posts here on the Mexico board or message me for his info. He's wonderful. The tour was great the true Mexico and we got it for a fraction of the price of what the ships charge plus we got to customize it. Frank calls his the City/Colonial tour.
