Has anyone been on the tour of the two vineyards? Also, it says that shopping is within walking distance of the pier...how far would that be? I keep having nightmares of being bogged down by loot and running for the ship as it pulls away!!
We did the wine tour and had a nice time on the tour. We taste different wine and bought a couple of bottles. There is a shopping center at the pier. However, a short walk into town and the prices are better. I really liked Mario's Silver Shop. I got this hand bag there. I got the same design in brown also.

I have done wine tasting in that area but not on a cruise ship tour. The best vineyards are in the Valle de Guadalupe. We are very partial to Monte Xanic wines but L.A. Catto, Calafia and Pedro Domeq have some very nice wines as well.
There is a very quaint old vineyard right in Ensenada you can walk to from the cruise ship. It is Santo Tomas. The tour there is interesting and free as I recall. If it was not free, it was a very nominal charge. Wines here are so-so in my opinion but the tour was quite interesting.
