Any recommendations for La Paz?

Looking for recommendations for La Paz, going for the first time in December on the Carnival Spirit, but don't know what to do, help?

I understand that the terminal is 10 miles north of the city. Can you get into the city?

I seriuously doubt there is much of anything you will want to see in La Paz. I recommend you try a ship tour if they have one like snorkeling.

If you are in luck there may be some wildlife in season. The Sea of Cortes has a LOT of amazing wildlife; porpoises, whales, sea lions, etc.

If they say they have that - do it. save your shopping for Cabo - it has the best shopping on the Mexican Riviera.

We sailed on HAL to La Paz, (port is Pichilinque) about 2 years ago. We did a long shiptour to Todos Santos with a lunchstop at Hotel California. Nice tour.
La Paz itself is a small town with some restaurants along the sea.
Most cruiselines offer a free shuttle to town and some beaches.
Nothing much else to do around there.
