Anyone been on the MELODY

Hi,
Im off on the MSC Melody on the 9th May on a fly cruise from Heathrow to milan and transfer to Genoa for a 7 night cruise.
Has anyone been on this ship? what can l expect? the reviews of MSC do seem very mixed.
I dare not say how much its costing for sake of starting world war 3, buts it through a newspaper promotion for the UK readers.
Having been used with QE2 l am open minded with this cruise.
Any observations very welcome,

Hello,
we were on the Melody 31 oktober - 11 november 2003 from. Had a wonderfull time. Especialy becourse of the fantastic animation team. Good food , pasta's .. Very reasonable drink prices. Every day specialty-coffee. Very mixed people from over the world.
