Satellite TV

Will be cruising on the opera 3/26 and their brochure states that they have satellite tv on board, however one of the reviewers on this site stated differently. The only reason I ask is that I "need" to see the NCAA basketball tournament while I'm traveling. If anyone has any info please let me know.

We were on the Opera last week . While the TV channel selections were not as varied as on other lines, we did see the Super Bowl. In fact, we were sailing in the Gulf of Mexico towards Cozumel and we were watching the Super Bowl via an Arkansas TV station. Go figure.

Can I say for sure you'll see the basketball? No...but we didn't think we'd get to see the Super Bowl either!

I think you're going to out of luck. Most of the stations are canned programs.
