A silly question, are there irons in the rooms?

No irons and cruise ships don't really allow them. Take a steamer if you have one; otherwise, Opera's laundry services for a summer dress are $2.75 to wash, $2.75 to dryclean or $2.75 to iron. Likewise, $1.75 for a cotton blouse and $2.25.for a silk blouse. Please understand, I didn't use the service; I just packed very well, so I don't know whether these are cumulative or inclusive charges. They do seem quite reasonable, however.

No irons, but I had my evening wear sent down for pressing and they did two long evening gowns for $5.00. I sent a suit down also and that was $2.75. The cabin steward took it at 9:00 am and I had it back at 12 noon.
