How long does it take Lirica 2 bill the credit card company
Hi Returned from an MSC Cruise on the Lirica on 12/14/07 My credit card company has not received any of the on board charges we made while on the cruise it has been two (2) weeks since we departed the ship can anyone advise if it always takes MSC this long to bill and also I read someplace that these charges are sent from the ship to the MSC home offices in Italy and then they are converted to Euros and they may be charges for this action is that correct ??? I called the MSC offices in Ft Lauderdale and they were NO help at all !!

Well Lou I don't know, but I would think that if you were on a Carribean cruise that everything would be calculated in US Dollars. However, if it were in the Med. it would be in Euros. I think I saw something regarding this on MSC's website. Check it out there and see if the answer to your question is there.
I am having my own fun with MSC right now, and I am trying to sort out some questionable pricing practices I have encountered. They quoted a price to my TA, then when I called in directly for pricing it was $700 cheaper. My TA is madder than a wet hen.
So you tell me how yours works out, and I'll tell you how mine pans out too. By the way, what room were you on, on the Lirica? I am looking for info on the family cabins 9003 and 9006. How did you like the ship?

Lou just touching base. I have been in touch with Rick Sasso President & CEO of MSC regarding my pricing issue. Evidently there was some sort of technical error that created the pricing disparity and I think we have hashed that out. I had several questions that I presented to him, one of which was yours and he told me that someone should be contacting me me to answer those questions. I last corresponded with him on Monday. With the holidays I thought I would wait until next week before following up if I don't hear anymore by then. I'll be in touch, when I get an answer.
