We're going on the Sept. 15th New England/Canada sailing on the Victory and realize that we'll probably have cool weather. We were wondering if Victory has a heated pool or should we forget about bringing bathing suits.

The weather could still be warm in September. Bring your suits along. The pools on the Victory are ocean water, not heated. - herb

One of the pools is covered though. I sailed Victory in late September last year and there were loads of people in the pools. Bring yur bathing suit.

Thanks for the info on the pools. I have another question for you since you went on the same cruise last year. I know there are two formal nights and I'm wondering if there are any 'informal' nights when the men should wear sportcoats or are the other nights all casual?

Onn the 5 night cruise there was one formal night and one semi-formal night. If I were guy I'd wear a sports coat every night. Victory is COLD!! I ate the the alternative dining room on semi formal night since my semi formal didn't cover me a whole lot better than my formal did. Except for a bad iceberg lettuce salad, the buffet was delicious and it was much warmer since I could wear my usual fall clothes.

BRING YOUR SUIT ALONG ANYWAY....i WILL BE CRUISING ON THE VICTORY ON August 25TH (IN 2 DAYS).....IF THEY DONT FILL THE POOLS, THE HOT TUBS WILL BE ON. which would warrent a suit! Most of the cruise ships get their water from the ocean....so when I get back I will let you know if the pools were open.
