I'm still hoping to manage that this year, but I want it in sept., before the leaves are all turned and it gets downright chilly.

We did lots of searching for the answer as to when is the best time to catch the leaves at their peak. There does not seem to be an answer - it can be different every year - and of course we are going south to north then south again - so we picked 10/2 - hoping that somewhere along the way we will see some spectacular fall foliage. We were in Pennsylvania, Virginia and along the Blue Ridge Mountains in Oct. of 2000 and wow - there was some great color. We're from TX where it's mostly grey and brown with the green, so it doesn't take a lot of fall foliage color to thrill us.

Ralph & Pam, we will meet another couple who we have been exchanging email with - she posts on cruisecritic and we found each other thru that message board. Would you like to meet onboard? Have you arranged your shore excursions? We found a couple of private tour guides that sound like a good deal - would be glad to tell you about them if you have any interest. Are you spending any time in Boston pre cruise?

Love to meet on board. We are arriving on Saturday, renting a car and gonna' do as much sightseeing as possible. We'll probably leave Boston until Wednesday.

Oldman,

Check your email.

We are sure looking forward to this cruise. Have you seen the review and pictures of the Radiance (sister ship of the Brilliance) at http://psp.club.tip.nl/

We will also be going be on the Brilliance on 9/15/02. The cruise seems to be almost sold out. Have you researched any of the shore tours.

My husband and I will be on the 10-2 sailing of the Brilliance. We will be flying to Boston on Sat 9-28 and spending 4 nights in Boston before getting on the cruise. I would like to hear any info you have on shore excursions and what each port is like. We are currently planning on just taking the trips offered by the cruise company, as this seems the easiest, but we are open to suggestions. Please email me with any info or ideas about this cruise. I am getting so excited!!
Thanks,
Jackie

If any of you have not signed up for the Cruise Critic Party on board the Brilliance, go to the RC web site and do so. We need 25 signed up and right now there are only 6. Marcia

My wife Jane and I will be joining you along with my sister-in-law and mother-in-law. We are very excited about going on this cruise. It is our second cruise with RCI. All of us were on the Vision of the Seas last Sept.
