Default Rocky Mountaineer Train

We are taking two night/three days excursion after our Land/Cruise trip with Princess.
Any one has taken this train ride from Vancouver to Calgary?. We would appreciate any input you may have. This is going to be our first Alaska trip and it will be first train , except on business travel on Amtrack.

We live in the interior of BC and know of this tour. We have not personally taken it, however. There is a dinner theatre production that they do on the stop over in Kamloops, that our locals just rave about. The scenery is spectacular ..but then again that is why they call us Beautiful British Columbia! Hope you have a great time!
