As a native of MA... no offense, but we have been to Bar Harbor which we found charming, but crowded with cruisers and tourists and we enjoyed our unexpected cruise there last September. Martha;s Vineyard I think is a great alternative...not exactly for the poor..lol.. When I think of popular ports I think of Hamilton in Bermuda..where thousands of cruisers are getting off the ships, thousands...there are usually docked three ships in Hamilton...not to mention the Dockyard or one or two in St. George. You will love the charm of M.V. and if you get a chance to see the homes enjoy...
It looks like neither weeks on the Constellation are going to the Vineyard.
I guess it might be because the Galaxy is going out of Baltimore or because the Galaxy is a smaller vessel.
Too bad, I love the Vineyard.

we were in marthas vineyard in june 2001, and it was the most enjoyable stop. you don't have to book an excursion. just walk around and see the sights. we did get lost, but all worked out very well. an island resident and family were having a b-b-q and offered us food and drink and then took us on a tour of the island for the entire day. it was terrific!
