Bayonne
Leaving from Bayonne in Sept. Just got documents and they say not to arrive before 5PM. Anyone had any experience arriving earlier than that and having problems? Thanks.

What time does your ship sail?

Re: Re: Bayonne
Ship sails at 10PM. Have read from others that they were able to board at 3PM but that was earlier in the summer. Wonder if that has changed.

Re: Bayonne
I'm leaving in 2 weeks for Bayonne. They tell you not to show up until either 5 pm or 6 pm BUT I had friends that were on board by 3 pm a few weeks ago. Other message boards indicate the same thing. I have their daily schedule. Bars open at 3 pm, Windjammer Cafe at 4pm, early dinner at 5:30. If they say don't show up til 5, why is everything on board open earlier? The VOS isn't schedules to arrive back in Bayonne (from its Caribbean cruise) until noon, thats why late boarding.

Re: Bayonne
That's a disappointment. We always look forward to boarding early, having a nice lunch..& getting our bearings on the ship. By dinner we usually have all or most of the luggage & are already into cruise mode! Wonder why it takes so long in Bayonne or are these ships just too big to turn around quickly?

Re: Bayonne
The cruise before the Canada cruise is a 9 day to the Caribbean and it is not scheduled back into Bayonne until noon. This morning I saw it pull in at 10:30 on the Empire State Bldg webcam. On your typical cruise, the ship arrives at 5 or 6 AM and people start getting off by 8 am. With a 10:30 - noon arrival, people won't clear the ship until about 2 pm.

Hi guys, will be arriving by bus, to board the Explorer of the seas, on Oct 14th, 2010 and am wondering about the traffic going in on that two lane road to get to the ship?
