Vancouver Pre-Cruise Hotel

Does anyone have suggestions for a hotel to stay for 2 night before a cruise from Vancouver. I am looking for ease in transfer from the airport to the hotel and again from the hotel to the cruise terminal.

If it is not too late for your cruise, you may want to look into the Pan Pacific in Vancouver. It is located at/over the cruise terminal pier and city convention center on the waterfront. Boarding is a walk out the back door. It is pricey, but well located in the tourist section of Vancouver. Trip from the airport is about half and hour.

We book thru Priceline - 5* downtown Vancouver twice and got the Hyatt and Sheraton on Burrard for $75. Great hotels and walking distance to Canada Place where you can see the Pan Pacific Hotel. I would love to stay there once.

Look for the Limo/Taxi kisok when leaving the airport. You can book a limo for about the same or less than a taxi. We booked them RT and got a deal. They were on time and very convenient and comfortable.

Last year we booked the Pan Pacific. It was wonderful. We had a port side room and literally saw our "ship come in" and it docked along side the Pan Pacific Hotel. We also booked the Princess Transfers. Last year it was $73.00 per person and IMO well worht it. Princess was at the Vancouver airport, took our luggage (after immigration check), hailed a taxi for us, went straight to Pan Pacific. In whittier, same thing. Transported us to Anchorage. Seamless. The only luggage we had to contend with was our carry-on. No hassles and no problems--completely seamless.
