Default Canada in the Summer?

The wife and I are considering taking the kids on a Canadian cruise out of New York this summer. We have done only Carbbean cruises and are a little concerned about the kids being bored. Also it seems as though the popularity of these cruises pick up in the fall for the changing of the trees. Is there much to do in the summer? Would we be better off with a different destination?

Thanks in advance for your advise.

I think Carnival, RCL & Princess does summer cruises to Canada
It depends on the ages/interests of the children.
Look up the ports you will be visiting then see if it is right for your family

PEI has beautiful red sand beaches, lobster dinners, Anne of Green Gables things to see

Something for everyone
Just depends on your interests

We are considering including our two grandchildren on a cruise. We have been three times to the Caribbean and twice to Canada. With kids, it will be the Caribbean (beaches, pools, swimming, etc). IMHO they would be bored on the Canada cruise.

Cool Canadian Cruises

Great Idea.. first of all there are the whale watches up and down the coast. Halifax has a great fort and you can take them to Peggys Cove.(not to mention the graves of the Titantic victimes) .St. John has the reversing of the falls and if your brave enough you can enjoy a ride..Boston.. well, what can I say.. The Cradle of Liberty.. the Freedom Trail, the Duck Tour (better than Halifax) and of course all those real Maine/Canada lobster dinners These cruises are highly underrated and as a New Englander I can tell you that nothing and I mean nothing beats having lobster at a lobster shack in Bar Harbor.. Really all the ports have great places to have the freshest fish and lobster.. We in N.E. turn up our noses at the Caribbean lobster served on cruise ships.. and you will too once you have had lobster from the coldest waters and sweetest lobsters ever..
