At the end of a pleasant visit to the New Forest earlier this month my wife and I took up our usual position on the Solent to watch whatever cruise ships were sailing early evening from Southampton.
On this particular evening one ship was P&O's Aurora, a ship we have sailed around the world with.
On returning home I checked her destination and was pleased to note she was crossing the Atlantic to cruise along the United States and Canadian East Coasts: a cruise my wife and I took on board Queen Mary 2 not so long ago.
One of the ports of call was Halifax, Nova Scotia. I have recently updated my review of that port of call and thought members may like to see just what can be achieved in a day...
First we visited the Fairview Lawn 'Titanic' Cemetery...
The full review with lots more photographs and includes Peggy's Cove, is at my blog...
