I understand that this ship is beginning 7 day, year round cruises in Hawaii. Is there any information available about this ship, its itineraries and pricing? Is a makeover going to take place, and if so, how long will the ship be out of commission? The Patriot had such a terrible start and I am wondering if it would be better to wait a few months for this ship to get the kinks out, or would it be okay to try and take a Christmas cruise this winter. Any information would be appreciated.

Pam,

The only modification to the ship will be the removal of the casino. The ship is only two years old, so there is no need for any type of overhaul and it should be a seamless transition from Star to NCL. I dont think they'll even be changing the crew other than bringing aboard an NCL Cruise and Entertainment Staff.

We were thinking of taking a cruise on this ship. Is it a remake from an older ship or is it a new ship? PLEASE reply to e-mail address. Thank You
