Default Off on the NCL Sky!

Well, on an impulse, last night we booked a balcony on the NCL Sky for its repositioning cruise 4/ 23 for the Alaska sailings. (We leave from Ensenada, stop in San Francisco and stay overnight, then to Victoria Canada and ending in Seattle. An easy trip for us, 'cause we live in San Diego.)

You won't believe this -- got a balcony room for only $412 a person (and including all port taxes!!).

Reviews sound interesting and good ... Tim, just read on the NCL message board you sailed on the Sky.

This will be my third cruise in six months, after taking our first in October on RC's Rhapsody and going with a friend on Carnival's Holiday in March. I guess you could say I'm hooked.

:-)

Oh, and I forgot to mention the $412 a person was for 7 nights! Ay ay ay -- who needs to eat at home!

We also booked the repositioning cruise on 4/23. We live in San Diego too, but
were wondering how you get to Ensenada? Are there shuttles available that will drop you off at the port?

Patty, as I mentioned in my private note but for the sake of others, you can find some shuttle services by just doing a quick search on the Internet.

We'll be sailing on the Sky on the May 6 Inside Passage cruise. Can't wait to try Freestyle!

The freestyle dining was great to eliminate the "must leave now to meet the dining time" stress. The downside was not having as much interaction with the staff and meeting as many nice people on board, but we still managed some nice times with other passengers.

I'm gonna post a review by the end of the week.
