Concerned that I might be one of the "unlucky" ones who have their cabin switched without notice, I called the cruiseline (NCL) to try to confirm my cabin number (I selected my cabin when I initially booked) for an upcoming cruise. NCL said I had to contact my Travel Agent for that information and they couldn't give me that information over the phone nor could they send me a document in the mail confirming it (had to get that from my TA). Seems there is nothing one can do to "double check" your room assignment (with NCL at least). I read horror story of a cruiser on Princess who had cabin switched and Princess and TA pointing fingers at each other with her in the middle. What is a consumer to do if the TA and/or cruiseline decides to pull the "switcheroo"??
