Default Norwegian Additional Costs???

Heading off for our first cruise over Christmas and I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. Could someone summarize for me what the "additional" expenses might be? We'll be on the Sky. I know alcohol, casino, excursions and beauty salon and spa services are not covered.
What about batting cage, golf area, video games, non alcoholic drinks, any foods etc that will be extra? I'm pretty confused as some say "not a problem...it is all covered" and I've also heard "look out...your charges will be astronomical at the end"
In truth..I don't care..I just want to be aware of what is and is not covered.
THanks
Kim

In addition to the above mentioned things I think you may want to budget some money for photos. I don't think that your costs at the end will be astonomical if you are a little frugal.

Kim,

We were on the Sky in January and you will love it. There is no charge for basketball, golf, batting, ping-pong, shuffleboard. There is a charge for Bingo each day if you play. Soft drinks are extra but they have Ice Tea, Milk, Coffee available at no charge in the buffet area by the pool most of the time. With your tips (they suggest $10 per person per day), all the extras you have are just what you spend in the gift shop, bingo and drinks, etc. You can get by with very little extra charge.

Have fun - it's a great ship. The entertainment is very good.

Sandy

Default Thanks

Thanks for your help Sandy and Joe...sounds like most everything is included. We are really looking forward to it. Seems people either love Norwegian or totally trash it.....but those attitudes don't seem to be exclusive to this line.

Kim, I don't think you have too much to worry about on your cruise, but the line's newest ships will have more dining venues with significantly more extra cost items not included in the basic cruise price. Just be aware of what, if any, extra charges are being assessed and act accordingly.
Enjoy the cruise.
