Dry Dock?

Hi,

Just curious, but what happens to the 12/23 sailing if the Norway is late leaving dry dock for some reason? She will be sailing empty from Bremerhaven, I believe, to make it to Miami for the Christmas cruise. Has this ever happened?

Delays sometimes happen with ships that are in drydock for emergency repairs. I don't think you have anything to worry about. This is scheduled maintenence work that eveyy ship receives about every 2 years.

The run from Germany to Miami is is fixed.

If there are additional repairs that are not finished, they will put the work crews on the ship and they will finish enroute.

Just as an FYI, when the Norway has the sprinkler system problem last May. NCL flew in a charter flight of plumbers from Poland for the repairs to get the ship back at sea by the next sailing date.

PS. If you have not been on the Norway, boy are you in for a wonderful week. She is truly the only classic left, Bon Voyage.

There was a rumor that NCL might sell the transatlantic from Germany / Southampton to Miami in mid December!

KC..worry not about the Norway..they have added a deparutre..12/16/01 and are now contemplating selling the Transatlantic voyage back to the Caribbean..You are in good shape!

Actually, Jim, the new sailing is SO much less expensive than the 12/23, we are now booked for almost $1000 less for 3 categories UP on the 12/16!
