I was one of those who had planned to sail on the Norway on 5/27. I have been dealing with NCL's corporate offices since I have gotten back. They managed to loose my receipts, but after several MONTHS, I finally got my reimbursement. I still have another beef with them on another topic. It had taken them 5 months to even get a response to me...of which they skirted the subject. I've called them every week or every other week. I've sent them letters/faxes. I get no response.
We finally got to sail in August. We had a wonderful time on the ship (even though we had to change from Western to Easter Caribbean....and didn't get to stop at St. Maarten.)
However, I will never sail NCL again due to the way they have treated me in the past couple of months. I hope none of you have to deal with their offices...and you have a wonderful trip. But, please remember, if anything should go wrong...you'll NEVER get it straightened out.
I understand your frustration!! One of the reasons I have a wonderful travel agent is just because of what you have written. We are sailing on the Star next June... hopefully we will not have any problems... but I know my TA will handle any problems with have directly with the cruise line!! Glad you got it worked out... sorry it was such a hassle!
Just returned from NCL Sky Vancouver to Hawaii and we booked Bermuda for next year while on board - when we recheck info after returning home there was an error but it was fixed by NCL within 2 days after we called them. It was our second cruise with NCL and so far so good.
I am sorry to hear you had a problem, but your posting gives zero, nada, zip, zilch information. it sounds more like a Dennis Miller Live rant.
If you throw out a few details, you might find some of the folks that post here might be able to offer some help or direction.
