January 20 Cruise to South America on The Dream
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three couples (2 from St. Louis, Missouri and 1 from Overland Park, Kansas) are going on the Dream. We would love to meet up with those couples who are also on the same cruise. We cruised the Scandanavian capitals with our two grown children on the Dream last summer. We all thought the ship was great. The crew were very nice and helpful, the food was good and so was the entertainment. We had a wonderful time and after almost two weeks on the ship, we were very comfortable and hated to leave. If we are going to be on the same cruise, or have any additional information about cruising South America, please e-mail us. We look forward to hearing from you --and have a great cruise! My husband and I booked on the Dream first, then switched to the Celebrity Mercury, but we are sailing on the same date as you to South America - 1/20/02. Maybe we'll see you as we "cross paths" in the ports. Carol

Is this the trip from Santiago to Buenos Aires? We will be on that ship.
Our first time for a cruise. So advice is helpful.

How did your cruise go? Any advice for us, we are first time cruisers from Auckland, New Zealand, we fly up to Santiago on 13 Feb to join the Dream on the 17th for a cruise around South America. We would appreciate any advice - some questions!!

Should I take hairdryer, travel iron, shampoo/toiletries
Any recommended restaurants and if so when do you book
We like dressing 'up' does open dining still allow for the dinner suits etc
Anything you think we should take and may not think of

Excusions, we have been travelling the world for the last 11 years (have recently returned to NZ from having been based in London UK and on way home drove across the southern states of US - spent 10 weeks driving - great) and prefer to do things on our own rather than tour bus so looking at arranging sightseeing ourselves rather than the rather expensive NCL arranged trips when in port - what are your thoughts on that?

Look forward to hearing from you
