We had cabin I041 last year. It was very nice with plenty of space, But they get a lot smaller toward the bow of the ship, so you may want to call NCL and check the square footage. But you cant beat the location.
We were on the Pool deck last year and the room was larger than the year before on the Norwegian Sea. You won't spend much time in there, but I can understand the comfort issue. You won't find a more elegant ship for the price. There is better, but there's a cost for it. The International deck is great. However, if you haven't booked yet, try the middle of the ship. The elevator is slow on the Norway so although you're closer to deck 10, your meals are served on the Atlantic deck (deck 2 or so), casino is on the Pool deck and the Theatre is about mid-ship. The crowd is pretty thick after dinner, entertainment and other misc. things, so I would suggest staying mid-ship, unless you're looking for a suite.
I stayed in I038 last time and it was wonderful. Good sized and great location - not too many stairs or elevators needed (but lots of walks on the Promenade, which for me is a plus). Check with NCL about the square footage, though. I know it can vary even within a category on the same deck.
Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, we ave already gone & come back. The room was fine except that I did call NCL and they told me that we had picture windows. Well, they were really portholes(see picture). But that didn't matter, we still had a wonderful time anyways. I really did enjoy the International deck. It was close to every thing we did.
