Kuki, I think there is another board just down a bit that addresses this question: Ron started it. Anyway here is why I love NCL; The itiineraries are always among, if not the best, as are the crew. Anyone who has had a bad experience with the staff must not have had the stewards and wait staff we have had. Ships do not have to be glitzy to offer a wonderful cruise experience. The overall picture is what counts, from the enbarkation to the entertainment to the activities and finally the debarkation. Has anyone taken time to realize that NCL is a pioneer in the industry. I believe they were the first to offer even one alternative dining experience. That was Le Bistro. Then along came sailing from Houston to such islands as Roatan. I realize ships are sailing from Galveston, not Houston, but NCL got this area started in the late 90s. Now they have added Alternative dining with the Freestyle cruising program. Of course there will be problems when new plans are put into place. For those who are so negative about NCL ask yourselves if Inovation counts for anything? A TRUE LOVER!!!!!!!!
