Hubby is a nut for these and far too much work to make at home. We had some of the best ever on the Carnival Spirit 12/01. Usually they have soggy muffins, hard eggs and dried out sauce like they have been on the warming tray/steam table way too long on ctruises. How are they on NCL, especially Dream????
Also, What is the scoop on Le Bistro Breakfast/Brunch. All/sea only days? Different menu? Surcharge?
We did the Dream June/July 2001 through the Baltic Sea. (R.T. Dover, England) There is no chage for breakfast st Le Bistro. This restaurant was open nearly every day for breakfast. I only remember one day when they closed because we over-nighted in St. Petersburg. Many crew members had that day off to go ashore.
As for eggs bene, they were better than most on the Sun, but only available a couple of days. I am sure if Le Bistro is serving breakfast they will have them. Know what you mean about soggy muffins, also canadian bacon is often dried out, eggs overcooked and how bout the Hollandaise sause with no lemon taste at all? We too love good ones. Nita
