Default Boarding Documents

My wife and I will bring our passports and drivers licences as proof of citizenship and identity. My son (12 yrs old) will bring his passport. According to NCL web site any child OVER 16 needs a picture ID. What about under 16 years old.. Any further documents needed??

My TA advised us to bring a school ID (preferably with a picture). Hope this helps.

I'm not all that familiar with a children's passport. Doesn't it have a picture...like an adult's? That picture, along with any picture on your passport, should satisfy the requirement for a "photo I.D.".

Yes, childrens passports does have a picture. Passports are used for proof of citizenship. What about proof of identity. NCL says age 15 and below does not need proof of identiy. But, I will bring a school ID card as backup.

We went on the NCL Sun last year and just needed a picture ID and a certified birth certificate. Is that sufficient for the Norway. Most information I've read said "yes" but with things constantly changing just wondering if we will be OK. Thanks, Luanne

If your son has his passport, that is all he will need. My son has traveled with just that for ID since he was 11.
