Default NCL Majesty

We are thinking about a Boston-Bermuda cruise aboard the Majesty next spring. I would appreciate reviews from people who have experienced the Majesty.---------------service, food, entertainment etc.

I understand that this is a smaller ship, and seas may be rough. Would midship be the best cabin placement?

I have cruised twice this year on the Majesty. The first time was on May 4 (highly recommended time of the year). My latest cruise was on August 3-10. I am a huge fan of the Majesty. I have actually gone to Bermuda three times now. I will not stay on any deck other than the Majesty Deck (6). If you are looking for an outside cabin, try 650. It's right near the casino, Palace Theater, photo gallery, etc. It's in an ideal spot, and the cabin steward is very attentive, as is his assistant. During my last cruise, I had a superior inside (II) cabin. Although it was nice to have a dark room to wake up to in the morning, and more space in the cabin, the service could not compare to the other end. The entertainment is wonderful. The Production Company is a group of young people who are so energetic, and so talented, they knock your socks off. On Deck 10 you'll find a Calypso Band (Flex) who plays at various times throughout the day. I bought their CD this last time. I really enjoy their music. There is so much to do on the ship all the time. We participated in all games offered, trivia, game shows, etc. St. George is so beautiful and quaint. Bring lots of film with you. You're going to love it. Tobacco Bay is beautiful. Try the Horse and Carriage excursion. It really adds to the fun. I recommend going in the Spring, rather than summer because there are less kids on the ship. During August 3-10 there were reported to be close to 400 kids on the ship. Not very quiet, I must admit. We had a great time though. Hope you decide to book with Norwegian, and have a great cruise.

We sailed on the Majesty to Bermuda in July, 2003. Did not experience any rough seas. Loved the Majesty. Be sure to try the Pasta Cafe Restaurant on Deck 9 for dinner. There is no additional charge and the service and food are superior to the Seven Seas and the Four Seasons dining rooms. There is an additional charge to go to Le Bistro specialty restaurant--heard some people saying that it was not worth it.
We enjoyed the 2 comedians on board, but walked out on a comedy show called "The Liar's Club". Also liked the hypnotist 's show.
