Default Nor. Sun cat BC- info please

im sharing this cabin with a friend on 12/7/03, my first balcony. have i read the brochure correctly that it's a hinged, not sliding door? dont you lose space behind it when its open?, and will bungee cords or a door stop keep it open at night to hear the sea? i know it defeats the a/c but i like it that way. answers appreciated.
Al

The door opens out to the balcony and there is a hook to latch it open. No lost space.

Al, you have the answer, but I wanted to add our first balcony cruise was BC cat on the Sun. You should be very happy with your choice. DD and I had a great cruise. Be sure and try the Tapa bar one evening at least! DH and I loved the Sky but I think my favorite is still the Sun!.

Any questions you can email me. Have a great trip.

Went on Sun last year and loved it.....had balcony room and loved the view even with the door closed! Beautiful ship! Are you booking ship excursions or independent?

Is there enough room on the balcony to fit a lounge chair out there? Thanks!

it would be very crowded, but if you had just one lounge and 1 chair it might work. Your partner gets the lounge and you the chair!!
