NCL didn't offer their customers anything when they changed itineray and we all know that itineray changes happen but this was a big change from Bermuda to a northern cruise. Did any other ships have to change itineries? Did they offer their customers anything? Everyone is complaining bout NCL, just wonderin if this was the only line that had the problem?
If you are referring to the Hurricane causing the change of port, that is your problem. You take a chance cruising in Sept and Oct during Hurricane season. I think if you encounter bad weather in other months and you cannot make a port, I hear that you will be reimbursed for that port.
For heavens sake, when are people going to stop whining about things that can't be changed. Of course it was a big change from Bermuda to New England, like NCL and the other lines said "let's plan a hurricane and see how many passengers we can piss off?" No one is entitled to a rebate or refund. If cruise lines start giving refunds and credits every time a cruiser is inconvenienced they would all go broke. As has been said time and time again (open the ears) if you choose to book a cruise from mid Aug to mid Oct especially Sept you stand a chance of encountering a hurricane. Look at all the changes that have taken place due to Izzy. Now she is heading up the coast instead of toward Miami and the Caribbean. this is life!!!
