Here are pictures of the NCL SEA... you post didn't indicate which ship you would be on. NCL offers transfers from the airport to the pier I believe price is around $40 per person round trip.

Sea of Dreams, I believe the only ship that sails out of Houston is the Sea unless something has changed in the past few days. As for the cost, it has changed in the past year or so thus I have no clue. $40 sounds about right and the best airport to fly into is Hobby. Intercontinental (Bush) is a loooooooooooooooong way from the dock. Don't laugh at the dock; it's a little different. As for the ship, she is a bit smaller than newer ones, cabins small and of course she is older. That being said, of our 15 cruises we enjoyed her as well if not more than any other. The staff alone made our cruise on the Sea outstanding. Have a good time.

Thanks for the pictures/reviews of the Sea. Great review sounds like you had a great time. I am going on March 6 and have been waiting for a detailed review!

The Cruise terminal is located off Hwy 146 in LaPort, TX. the exit is Baubors Cut Blvd. Follow the signs that say Houston Cruise Terminal. Lots of Caro Trucks and train traffic in the area.
I provide a transportation service from the Kingwood / IAH area, $75.00 each way. Parking at the terminal is $50.00 for the week, but I wouldn't park my car there. Salt air and Chemical plants in the area ... terrible for an auto finish. Email if you have any more questions. Also, I will be onboard the SEA leaving Jan. 31, 2004

I didn't want to confuse anyone with the SEA pictures, they are from a previous cruiser named Mickey. I think she did an awsome job with her forum dedicated to the SEA and her information has answered so many questions for me. Not only does she have pictures, but she has copies of all the daily Freestyle's listing all activities.

I am still in the research mode, and not cruising until April 17th.

Counting the days...

Yes, and one of my drivers will be taking me to the terminal. Also, I am very protective of my autos and choose not to park at the port for a week. The area is safe as for as security, no one can get to the parking area or the terminal during the week. There is a 2 station security check point.
My comments were not to offend anyone, just my personal expierence.

Hi all,

I will also be there 2/28. We are searching (getting some help in the boards at cruisecritic.com) for a way to rent a car at IAH on 2/27 and drop it off somewhere near the port on 2/28. Then we want to pick up a car near the port on 3/6 and drop it off at IAH on 3/8. Sounds like not much nearby ... but looking for something relatively close.

I try an post if I find something!

Hey Sea of Dreams, just wanted to give a shout out to you and thank you for posting about my site! I did try hard to review everything and help answer any quesitons I could!

I hang out at cruisecritic.com message boards mostly, but have my own boards set up on my site too! So if you need me to help with any questions please feel free to ask them there! I tend to get lost with all the forums and postings!

Thanks again, and I do hope my site has been of help to you all!
