Default Norwegian Dream

My husband and I just came home from a western caribbean cruise on the Dream but after seeing a portrait of John Gotti, the infamous convicted murderer hanging on the Dream's 4th aft deck staircase this ruined the cruise for us. We will not book anymore cruises with Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Isn't that a little bit silly to punish the whole cruise staff and all of its hard workers who worked so hard to make your cruise enjoyable, for to not go back because of a PORTRAIT???!?!?!??!?!?!-

John Gotti?!? The "Teflon Don" John Gotti?? Are you sure the portrait was of Gotti? Why on earth would NCL hang a portrait of him?! Gotti died a couple of years, and it's hard for me to believe that he was any kind of a celebrity or hero in Norway. Pardon my being a skeptic, but exactly how do you know whose portrait it was/is? We'll be sailing on the Dream later this year, and I'll be sure to check it out.

Jack

We just got back from the Dream, and sure enough there was a picture of John Gotti. But after 2 days he mysteriously disappeared and was replaced by a fibre optic type picture of a woman in a hat. I don't know if someone complained or it was just time to change the artwork. It didn't bother me, but I still can't figure out the significance of it being there. Great trip on the Dream by the way.
