Balcony with a steel door not glass??
 

I have heard that some of the balconys have a steel door instead of a glass door, has anyone heard this??? I think I heard that it was for safty reasons but I'm not sure on what decks or where on the ship they are. Anyone?????

Gee, I never heard of that. I know that my room had glass doors. I know that the doors in between the balconies are steel (in case you have connecting rooms you can open it) - maybe they meant that?!

There are some forward balconies (deck 8 ?) that have steel under the railing instead of glass. It will block your view when sitting in the cabin or on the balcony. As far as I know all the cabins have sliding glass doors.

My brochure shows that the Sky has Steel doors with portholes for the balcony instead of glass doors. Thank goodness we are on the Sun.

Having actually been on the sky: There is a large porthole to one side of the GLASS door leading to the balcony.
