Default magic kingdom

We will be sailing on the Dawn in May and going to Magic Kingdom. I have 2 children, ages 2 1/2 and 4 1/2. Any advice for getting around the park and getting to see the characters, especialy the princesses? Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

If this your first visit, Learn your way around the park before you go .Go to Disney .com
they have maps of the park , make a plan of what to see and do,so you dont waste time
Try and get your tickets before you go it will also save you time.
your children will love Fantasyland go ther first , walk right thru the castel,
They have a princesses store there, Its a small world ,stuff like that.
Try to get on line to get off the ship early, The buses leave as they fill up.
You will have a magical time

Thanks Disneylynn. Do they have strollers for rent and if so how much? I want to avoid dragging strollers aboard if possible.

Yes they have strollers for rent ,I have not needed them in a few years
but you can get one for 2 kids for about $10.00
The parade is at 3pm be on main street early so you get a good spot ,your kids will love it. You will see all the characters in the parade.

There is a house in the Magic kingdom that has 3 princesses.;long lines]And in MGM go to the circle and the charaters are around there signing autographs.Ask about times that they are there.Take your book.

for a memorable experience, book lunch at the castle. i can't remember the exact name but if you call disney reservations they will know exactly what it is. it's really neat and in the upstairs of the castle right at the end of main street. pretty good food and a great treat. hope you have a good time. disney is the best!

Another good place to look for characters is on the left side of the square just after you enter under the train station. They are often there as they come on and off their shifts. I think the castle restaurant is called King Stephan's and it is very nice. A good way to get a look at the park layout is to get on the train and do the circle (or get off at Mickey's village).
