Default NCL Sea--Promenade Deck

I just found out our GTY outside on the NCL Sea (5/08) would be on the Promenade deck, #6013. After looking at the deck layout it appears there is a jogging track outside our window. Is that going to pose a problem with noise or people staring in the cabin? Will we have any view of the sea?

Thanks,

Zoomer

Yes it may, I was on the Sea a few years ago, and it is a busy promenade deck. Because of the size of the ship, and the amount of sea days, the traffic on that deck is very busy. People tend to be looky loos and often they are curious what other peoples rooms look like. I would personally have a hard time relaxing while looking out the window to see people walking byh all day and night. I would rather have an inside room. Talk to your travel agent and tell them you have concerns about that deck, perhaps they can get you an upgrade to another deck. I know people say that you don't spend much time in your cabin, but on vacation you want to relax when yo are in your room!

We were on the prom deck several years ago and didn't have any problems. We usually get up rather early and sometimes walk ourselves (jog, no) no one can really see in your cabin, nor do they want to. I wouldn't hesitate to book if the price is right. It's got to be your decision.

I rememebr when I was on the Sea in 2002 and we took a walk on the Promedade Deck, we could see into the rooms - especially at night.

The portholes have two sets of curtains. Sheers and Light blocking curtain.s Keep the sheers closed, light still gets in no problem. We were on the Sea 18 months ago, our cabin looked out between two lifeboats. imagine the shock my wife and the painter had when they discovered each other and my wife was in her nightgown.
