Hi...We are sailing on the Norwegian Crown Aug. 1. Has anyone been on this ship before? We are looking for reviews.
Has anyone had a quad-cabin....I heard it has two lower beds and two uppers. I was wondering how the upper beds are arranged. Are they like "bump beds", with one being lower than the other, or is one bed on one side of the cabin and the other is on the other side. Any information would be appreciated...thanks!
We were on the Norwegian Crown during the summer of 98. It was a NY-Bermuda 7 night cruise. We had a quad outside cabin. We are a family of 4. In our cabin there were 2 upper beds that folded out of the wall. When the cabin is all made up for sleep it looks like 2 sets of bunk beds. One of the few negatives about this mid=sized comfortable ship is that the two lower beds could not be pushed together to make a double or queen size bed.
Although we sailed into a hurricane on the way back to NY we had a beautiful Bermuda cruise. If you like mid-size ships that feel like a ship and not a floating hotel-you should like the Crown.
We are sailing to Bermuda on the Crown June 6th and are also looking for reviews, etc. on this ship. There is not much available yet. Hope when ship starts sailing to Bermuda in in a couple of weeks, there will be some more information.
Just booked for July 4 cruise to Bermuda on the Crown. Desperately seeking reviews of NCL as well as this ship. Spent too much time running into negative sites tonight and am now very unhappy with these vacation plans. All inout is greatly appreciated.
