CROWN to Bermuda - 8/29/04 with kids..

Anyone sailing on the Crown to Bermuda on 8/29? We're going with two kids, ages 2 1/2 and 6. Hoping the kids enjoy the ship and the beautiful beaches. Anyone out there sailing that date? Some of the recent reviews have been negative, but I think the latest are better..

My husband and I will be going on The Crown on 8/15 - 8/22 to Bermuda. First time cruising for both of us.

Hope the kids center is nice. I think the beaches of Bermuda will be the best entertainment of all. My kids are 6 1/2 and almost 3.

Hi Elizabeth, how are you, where are from, we are from Long Island, New York. We had originally booked the NCL Dawn with another person but they backed out on us and the trip would have been alot more, so we booked the Crown which was about $500.-$600. cheaper, probably should have stayed with the Dawn, much bigger ship. The Crown has alot of mixed reviews. What i like about the Crown is that the ship stays in port overnight, so you dont have to rush back to the ship. Our first cruise was in August 23, 1992, we went on Carnival Estascy ship which was beautiful. We left Miami and Hurricane Andrew hit 8 hours later after we left and we missed Nassau, hopefully we wont run into that problem. How old are you guys, Im 37 and my wife is 34, well i hope to talk to you soon. Bye for now Tom&Jackie
