Does anyone know about Gatsby's or Le Bistros on the Sea? Do these restaurants cost extra or are they just specialty restaurants?

We did Le Bistro at end of Jan/04. Highly recommend it.
$12.50 per person surcharge, I think. Considering all the other meals during the week were no charge, we didn't mind the surcharge here.
Well worth it - atmosphere very nice. Staff were excellent. Food also excellent. Nice wine list.
I think we did it on the formal night (captain's dinner?) in one of the other dining rooms so Le Bistro wasn't very busy and staff fussed over us. They were gems.
Reservations required. Not sure if tips were required or expected but we (party of four) left about $40. Worth every penny.

I believe the Sea was the first ship to introduce specialty restaurants and it was Le Bistro. This is way back to the Seaward days. We loved the idea then and still do.

Le Bistro is very good and well worth the money compared to the less than extraordinary fare in the "free" restaurants. On our 12 night Baltic cruise we ate there 9 nights out of 12 because of the huge quality differenvce.
