Baggage

Okay I need your help again. I was wondering about carry on and checked baggage. Do they have rules about what size you can carry on like the airlines? Could you take a smallish size suitcase and just take care of it yourself? I seem to remember on our other cruise, long ago, that when we arrived we dropped our luggage and then stood in line to get checked in. The reason I ask is for disembarkation, it seems like it would be lots easier just to have your bag with you, right? And since they have a laundry service, why not just take a little bit? Maybe someone could lay out what the exact procedure is when you go on board. And any other info that anyone thinks is important, I would appreciate it! Thanks

You can carry on any bag that will fit thru the scanner. If it is to large no need to carry it on you can check in and then carry it off at the end of the cruise.

Many of the NCL ships offer express disembarkation for those that can carry all their bags off the ship. No need to put the bag out the night before. No size limit since it is not scanned leaving.
