I BEING A TRAVEL AGENT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW YOU GOT IT. LAST FRIDAY WHEN I CALLED NCL REGARDING A CRUISE MY FAMILY IS ON IN OCT I ALSO WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD GET A 100% REFUND AFTER SPEAKING TO RES AND GETTING THE SUPERVISORS NAME WHO MADE THIS OFFER I CALLED YESTERDAY TO CANCEL AND TOLD THAT THIS WAS NOT THE CASE AND IT IS AMAZING THAT I JUST HAPPENED TO KNOW THE SUPERVISORS NAME AND THE RES AGENTS NAME. I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT THE VP OF NCL ASSURES ME THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE FIXED BY THE TIME MY FAMILY TRAVELS BUT MY FAMILY WANTS THEIR MONEY BACK NOT AN EMPTY PROMISE FROM AN IVORY TOWER SITTER IF A TRAVEL AGENT IS HAVING THIS PROBLEM I FEEL SORRY FOR THE FOLKS WHO BOOKED THEIR OWN CRUISE GOOD LUCK NO ONE AT NCL IS WORRIED ABOUT YOUR MONEY ONLY THE MONEY THEY ARE MAKING SELLING FALSE PROMISES ABOUT THIS CRUISE
IWe (my family) were to sail on POA Jan. 16, 2005. After all of the problems they are having, I was afraid to trust POA to fix the problems. My TA cancelled the cruise today while we still could and we stay 3 nights in Kaual, 5 nights in Kona, and 5 nights in Honolulu.
I thank everyone for keeping me informed on the POA cruise and its problems so I could make the decision whether to take the cruise or change to a land vacation. I sure was hoping that they would get their act together so we could enjoy the cruise but, I am afraid that they won't. I was in Maui a week Dec. 2002, so I will not go to Maui this time.
We plan to take a Caribbean Cruise later. I have been reading this board since June. I hope everyone that sails on POA will report on their trip. Everyone needs to be informed of how the cruise was so that they can decide on their on if or when to change to a land vacation. Thanks
