Default Soap Opera

From reading your postings about NCL and the POA. it reads like a soap opera.

You hate NCL. You love NCL. Did half the crew walk off or was it only ? %? You got sick at the buffet or maybe you only got a virus from one of the 2000 other passengers. Why was the decal peeling off? A crew member looked at me funny. Should I bring my own sheets? NCL bought off the inspectors. Are American workers lazy or are they overworked? My food was cold. Lets make it 220, no 230 responses to one message. Did NCL lie? Did the person writting the posting lie? Where does the $10 a day go? I love Freestyle. I hate Freestyle. What is Freestyle and why should I like or hate it? TRY SOMETHING NEW or DIFFERENT!!!!!

Here are some suggested titles: The Hate Boat, One Ship to sink, Payton Place, From Hell to Hawaii. The Days of our Lifeboat.

Are there any Hollywood producers on line?

Bandman...you;re absolutely correct...This is the best posting I have read on the site in a long time....I personally am tired of hearing about the Pride of America...

All the postings are re-hash of the other postings...I don't even read them anymore...this is getting real old...

Let's talk about the Dawn, the Dream, the Wind, the Spirit, the Sun...etc..etc...NCL has other ships out there besides the POA

I agree with you nclfan. I was looking into the POA and it's not the ship any longer that discourages me from trying it. It's the passengers. If passengers on my cruise were anything like the people that come here to bash the ship and the crew, that's what would cause my trip to be ruined. So what other ships can I look into?

The Dream isn't doing Europe next year right...would like to try the Baltic trip. I wonder if it will be back for 2006? Are any NCL ships doing Europe next year?

I, too, am tired of reading the same rehash of the same problems from weeks ago. I'd like to hear from someone who has RECENTLY gotten off the POA. I'm sailing 9-12 and WILL have a good time!

It's late Sunday Night. Enjoying my Labor Day Weekend and turn on my computer to the Cruise soap opera which continues on and on and on.
I agree that all the old poa postings should be deleted and we all start fresh with some new posting from cruisers who were recently on the ship.

Here are a few episode ideas for shows if a Hollywood producer is out there:
Will the fired bartender get a new job?
Will the American crew ever get any respect?
Will NCL really try to add 2 more ships to NCLA?
Can we get 60 minutes involved?
Can everyday people who like to talk about cruising, get a real life?
Can we agree to disagree?
Who put the worm in the salad and why?
Can they make the toilets flush so people can use their ice for Cokes?
Rodney King episode: Can't they all just get along?

Who put the worm in the salad and why?

Bandman,

You just gave me a great idea for a name for this soap opera;

''As the Worm Turns'

Hey, I like the sound of it.

On second thought though, I don't think the salad worm incident was reported about the ship, I think it was Paul who got it in a NYC restaurant ,so maybe we will have to scrap that name.
