I have heard of three good ones: Tabyana Beach, West End Beach , and Salt and Peppers. Any input to best swimming snorkeling beach and how to get there, cost and waht is offered? Linda
Tabyana is wonderful but you pretty much need to book through the ship for this one: we are doing Salt and Peppers on the upcoming cruise and West End is great. The snorkeling is so awesome in Roatan you probably can't go wrong. Salt and Peppers charged $40 per person including Lobster lunch if you do not want to go out on the boat to snorkel and have equiptment: $60 otherwise: I am not sure what the charge for Tabyana is now and West End, you can just get a taxi or van to take you. This will probably be the least expensive way if you are a family and just want to enjoy the beach for a few hours. Hope this helps some. NMNita
We just returned from Roatan, and it's correct about Tabyana beach. You must book this thru the ship for enter. We took a cab over to the west end beach which was just
as nice....
you can get a taxi which will most likely be a van. The same driver will take you and return for you at a given time. Price is nogotialble and will be per person. Hope this helps a little. NMNit
