POA Internet Options?

I'll be on the end-of-year cruise on POA. Cruise ship internet access is too $$. I'll have my wireless laptop with me. Are there many Wifi hotspots available at the ports? What are the Internet terminals like on the ship? Any tips on the best ways to get my email fix while I'm cruising?

On a related note, Celebrity cruises offer some free options in their computer terminals . . . I could use Word, Excel, etc, without being charged. Does NCL offer anything similar?

The POA had an area with computers you could use - it was near the "museum".

We saw a few internet cafe while on the road - particularly in Lahaina, Maui.
