Default New Dawn entertainment . . .

I called NCL and they informed me that there will be new entertainment offered by Second City comedy troupe. This will go into effect when the Dawn starts the new season from NY in May. I asked if the Jean Ann Ryan Co. was still performing (hopefully with new shows!) and she didn't have an answer for that. Does anyone on here know if they are still on the Dawn?? Also, does anyone know if they have new shows?? Thanks!

The new entertainment starts this month ! It will replace one of the GAR shows - Andrew Lyodd Weber - Music of the Night

MIAMI - January 17, 2005 - Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) today announced its exclusive partnership with the famed sketch and improvisation troupe, The Second City. Beginning this month, six performers from the storied comedy empire will quip, sing and laugh their way through a special customized comedy revue aboard Norwegian Dawn on each of her roundtrip sailings from New York City......snip..........

“The Best of Second City” will replace Norwegian Dawn’s current Music of the Night performance, which features the musical scores of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Thanks, shoreguy! So, that must mean that they are still doing the "South Beach Rave" and "Bollywood"? That stinks because I've cruised on the two for the past two years and even though they are great shows, they need something new if they want repeat customers. Oh well! : ) Thanks again for the info!

I will be on my 4th cruise on the Dawn. I am glad one show has changes. Keep in mind the normal live of a show on a ship is 4 to 5 years. We are lucky

We sailed on Dawn - 01/09/2005 - the second city comedy show was onboard. BTW, they were very good.

I saw Bollywood and hated it. They should have replaced that one.

Just got off the Dawn yesterday. They had the Second City performers and the dance company onboard.

Also got off Dawn on Feb. 27.

thought Second City was a little disappointing. Improv stuff was flat and forced.

I LOVE the South Beach show. Seen it three times and looking forward to seeing it this summer.

Bollywood is very good, but not as good as South Beach. I remember South Beach songs but not Bollywood songs.
